Zephyrus

Zephyrus is the west wind — the most beloved of the named winds. He brings the soft airs of spring, the warmth that undoes winter, the first day that smells different.

Homer praised him; painters depicted him exhaling flowers. He is the wind most associated with longing: arrival, return, the end of something difficult.
